Free entry into club competitive events for members in 2022

Thinking about having a go at a new cycling discipline ?

Seacroft Wheelers will refund the cost of entry of any first claim member into a club run event during 2022 as follows:-

*Time Trials – The club run 5 events costing between £5 and £13 each.
Can be done on a regular road bike. Compete against the clock over 1o miles either on your own or with some club mates.
Normal costs are 2up (2 riders together) £5, 3up (3 riders together) £5, hill climb £5 and the Open 10mile £13 t.b.c. These run from April to September (excludes Thursday Evening League).

*Cyclo Cross – The club run 1 event costing £13 Seniors and Vets,(come out on a Wednesday evening for some skills and fitness training).
Can be done on any bike with off road tyres. Normal cost £13. Takes place September/October time.

*Road Race – The club run 1 event costing £26.
Place numbers restricted to the team size limit for both the men’s and women’s race is likely to be 6 (so get your name down early 😉 ). Taking place 17th July.

How to claim
Once the event has been completed there will be 1 refund per person for each of the 3 categories above, where there is more than 1 event per category ie Time trials, the refund will be done once the last event in that category has occurred. Please contact treasurer@seacroftwheelers.co.uk with confirmation of the event(s) you have entered and your bank details.
For the Youth and Junior second claim members that ride the 2up, 3up and hill climb in a Seacroft Wheelers jersey they will also qualify for the entrance fee refunding.

(Note- part of each entrance fee comprises a levy paid by the organising club per rider, to the relevant governing body Cycling Time Trials Association, British Cycling etc which goes towards things like liability insurance for that event, administration and developing the sport).
