Sunday 30 May – The ‘Long Rides’

Event Details

Ever done a ‘100-plus’ ride?  You’ve still time to prepare yourself (but there’ll be another one later in the summer if you’re not yet ready).

Now an annual club event (Covid-19 notwithstanding), now’s the chance to test yourself – as the Intermediate group(s) do a 100-miler in one day.  Alternatively, you can opt for an extended Elementary group ride of around 70 miles, while there will also be a Short Social as usual, 9am start.

Bookings for these rides will take place in the usual way – by Facebook poll or email to ridecaptain@seacroftwheelers.co.uk

NOTE: An 8am meeting time is expected for these rides.

The Intermediate group(s) will head north, towards Thirsk and Northallerton, before turning towards Bedale.  They’ll visit Ripon and Boroughbridge, and then head towards home via Wetherby.  Route details available on Strava here.

The Elementary group(s) will also go north, skirting Wetherby before heading to Boroughbridge via Ripley and Markington.  The ride will then turn south towards Great Ouseburn and return ‘home’ via Boston Spa. Route details here.
