(This replaces the club’s regular Sunday rides. Some members are still likely to meet at the Barnbow to ride to the start.  Check our Facebook group for further info nearer the time.)

Venue:
Squires Cafe, Newthorpe Lane, Newthorpe, South Milford, Leeds, Yorkshire, LS25 5LX

What is a Reliability Ride?

A reliability ride is a test of a cyclist’s reliability and that of their bike coming out of winter; and a test of fitness and form coming into the Spring. Reliability rides are for all abilities, from elite athletes to social spinners. They offer great motivation to push yourself over the approximate 50 mile routes – when a lie-in followed by an hour on the turbo may seem more inviting.
The rides take place on open roads under regular traffic conditions so – for everyone’s safety – this is not a race! 🙂

Due to continued Covid considerations, preferred entry method is online £5 (£4 plus £1 BC booking fee); £5 can be paid on the day, please bring exact amount. The club will make a donation to the Cyclists Defence Fund). There is a choice of two ride distances 85km and 54km (details below)
Online entry will mean no requirement to sign-on on the day, or to sign back in upon return to Squires. (On-the-day entries will need to sign on as normal and non-Seacroft Wheelers, 16-18 year olds will need to provide their British Cycling parental consent forms; under-16s must be accompanied by parent/guardian etc).
