Ride Type: Social Ride
This is a ‘no drop’ ride, we will ride at the pace of the slowest rider, everyone will feel included.
These rides are suitable for all bikes with knobbly tyres, mountain and gravel bikes as the terrain consists of a mixture of canal tow paths, single track, woodland and road.
There will be a cafe stop but please bring some snacks to keep up energy levels just in case.
Please remember that a helmet is mandatory and check your bike is in a good condition.
We are departing at 10.15am from the canal Calverley Bridge car park near Rodley.
W3W – leader.judge.care – there is good parking here but it does fill up.
If full use W3W – frames.jacket.player (Calverley Lane) which is only a couple of hundred yards away. If using this one cycle on the path (only 80yds) back to Calverley Bridge car park, as the Leeds ring road is far too busy.
This is a relatively smooth route, suitable for all types of bikes and will be suitable for all riders with some excellent sections/great views, it will suit our newer members looking for a ‘less demanding / less technical’ route.
